From 1981 to 1985 Delf worked for the environmental project Clearwater on the Hudson River, and performed with Pete Seeger at Carnegie Hall in New York and Massey Hall in Toronto. He is artistic director of the Cape St. Mary's Performance Series, and serves on the programming committee of Sound Symposium. Aside from that he creates soundtracks for documentaries, and writes Harbour Symphonies, Music for Ships' Horns.
For the past ten years, Delf has been collaborating with storyteller Dale Jarvis on various projects, and together they have performed twice at the Yukon International Storytelling Festival in Whitehorse. In 2012, Delf and Dale will be touring a new two-man show based on the lives and stories of the Brothers Grimm. Expect a Grimm tale or two on Thursday night!
