Love, Lust and Legends Competition

Thursday, February 9th
Love, Lust and Legends Competition
The Crows Nest
7:30pm
$3 at the door

Looking for a perfect spot to take your sweetie? Bitter, single and convinced love sucks? Well, either way, we have the night for you. The St. John's Storytelling Circle hosts the annual, crowd-pleasing "Love, Lust and Legends" competition at the Crow's Nest, with tales of love, of lust, and of love gone terribly, horribly awry. This is an open mic storytelling session, so bring your sappiest story or your recitation of rejection.

Hostess for the evening is the tea-licious Kelly Jones of Britannia Teas and Gifts, who is sponsoring the night, and providing a suitably St. Valentinian gift for the teller of the most romantic and the most heart-breaking tale, to be decided upon by you, the audience.

$3 at the door, Crow's Nest Officer's Club, just east of the war memorial, Duckworth Street, St. John's.

Hey, I heard there's a guy who tells The Brothers Grimm stories. Will he be performing around St. John's anytime soon?

Hi Sandra, that's me! Yes, at some point we'll do the Brothers Grimm show in St. John's. I'll post it here when we do.
